Studio IB Milano designs and produces sculptural dining tables in natural stone — from an Italian marble dining table selected from the Signature Collection to a fully bespoke marble table developed around a specific room and gathering.
Designer marble table
A table is the centre of gravity of a room.
A dining table carries more weight, visually and socially, than almost any other piece of furniture. It is where a household gathers, where guests are received, and where a room's material story is told most directly. An Italian marble dining table brings that weight literally: the density, coolness and veining of natural stone give a room a quiet sense of permanence.
Each custom marble table from Studio IB Milano is designed as a sculptural object first and a table second — a base carved from solid stone, a top selected for the movement of its veining, proportions considered for the exact space and number of guests it is intended to seat.
Stone selection
The right stone changes everything.
Marble, breccia and travertine each bring a different character to a dining table: the fine, even veining of Carrara, the golden warmth of Calacatta Oro, the dramatic contrast of a figured breccia. Stone is selected block by block for the piece — the sculptural base carved from solid stone — so the veining across the table reads as one continuous composition rather than a repeated pattern.

Every Italian marble dining table produced by the studio is carved from solid stone and finished by specialist artisans, using techniques for shaping, honing and polishing natural stone that have been passed down through generations of Italian stoneworking.
Once complete, tables are carefully packed for transport and delivered to private residences, architects and hospitality projects internationally, with installation coordinated as part of the commission.
